Back focus can be an issue when changing lenses. If a lens no longer holds focus at both ends of the zoom range, you will need to adjust the back focus. Adjusting the back focus changes the distance between the pick-up device and the rear element of the lens. Not all lenses have a back focus adjustment but if you are using a high-end video camera, this will be one of the standard features.
The Back Focus Test Card will help you calibrate your lens back to sharpens at full zoom and wide angle. You can also use this card as a standard focus card with photographing in tricky conditions.
The Back Focus Test Card is printed A4 (297mm x 210mm) in size on a quality 350gsm art board and matt laminated on both sides for protection. Supplied folded to A5 (210mm x 148mm) making it very portable and easy to store. The focus pattern is printed on the inside with the User Guide instructions on the back.
